6:34am Firefox reported ATTACK SITE!

I think it might have been when one of the ads were loading up, but not sure. Just a guess. I should have written down the url it was reporting, but I wasn't thinking quick enough.

7:52am got it again, this time Avast warned me and blocked the site.

Here was the warning...

I got this warning when clicking on an email link sent from airgunhome. I then clicked on the link again and had no problems.

It could be a false positive, but to have firefox warn me the first time and then avast the second, it makes me wonder if it's real.

Something has overwritten most of the files on the server- which is not a "hole" in any of the applications- it is a service provider MAJOR security problem. I am working on it now aas best I can.

There may be a possibility that your PC got infected. My work PC pretty much died on me. Neutral

I just got a java warning on chrome. I didn't install the plugin that it asked for and it was the same site that tried to install a virus earlier.

Problems are fixed- Google's classification has yet to flow through...

Glad to see you back up 'n running. I was getting the warning as late as this morning about 0700 and was pleasantly surprised to make it onto the site this time.

I am running Linux Mint and Firefox 3.6.16 and got the warning the site was listed as an attack site. But since I was running Linux and knew the site I just clicked on ignore this warning and it let me view the site but would not allow me to log in as every time I tried I got the warning again and ignore would bring me back to the login page never sending the login information on to the site.

Really glad the site is backup and pleased with how fast this was taken care of.

I think the internet guardians are getting a little too big for their britches since they decided the site was an attack site and would not allow entrance as that should be the prerogative of the visitor not someone else.

The only way to bypass such warnings is to disable to feature in your browser (Firefox has a simple on/off switch for it).

But- if in fact the content (i.e. re-direction to another website) is bad enough- maybe for most people it is actually an advantage to not let them visit sites with corrupted content.

I'm really starting to get aggravated with these near constant attacks- with all the automated tools than are running rampant these days (far more oriented at websites than there used to be) in order for criminals to sell their crooked junk by basically stealing other peoples space/existence and time (to eliminate/repair their damage) it is getting absurd. A few years ago I wasn't too concerned with "hackers" and prosecuting them- but now I've turned completely around- catch a "hacker" (pro or not)- nail them to the wall- I have lost hundreds of hours of my time fixing/attempting to prevent this sort of thing- for only a couple of websites- and for what? So some Ukrainian gangster can then steal again by ripping some ignorant guy trying to buy fake viagra? Or, get people's passwords and steal their bank accounts?

Just as a note: You will never receive any notifications that are legitimate from AirGunHome.com stating something like your password is bad and needs to be re-set or you need to log-in to "update" things, etc. Any issue(s) that could involve such a thing would come straight from me via PM on the board here, or in an email that is obviously written by me direct to "you"- not some generic thing- often with poor English and grammar.
