Hello gentlemen!!! With the unusual cold temperatures we were having this winter I was suffering from “shooting withdrawal” and decided to purchase a pellet pistol so I could shoot indoors. Soon after I purchased a pellet rifle and now I am reliving the good times I had as a youth. My father bought me an Ithaca rim fire .22 youth rifle (which I still have) when I was 5 and a Browning rim fire .22 pistol the next year. Several years later when my older cousin went off to college I inherited his pellet rifle. Thanks to my father starting me at an early age I have been shooting for 52 years and found bullseye shooting to be my favorite. Both my wife and I shot on an indoor bullseye league in the 80s and had a great time. Since then we moved to the country and now have our own 150’ range in the back yard. I have tried to do my homework by reading forum posts and searching the internet, but still have some ammo related questions. I will post them in the appropriate sub forums soon. Well, here are the two pellet guns I have been breaking in recently. The first is a Weihrauch HW77 with a Hawke 4.5-14x42 scope and the pistol is the well known Baikal IZH 46M.

Welcome to the forum, Whitleystu! Nice hardware there. After 52 years you probably have as many answers as questions, and I'm sure you'll fit right in here. Again, welcome.

Good looking airgun porn there! I would like to have the baikal 46m myself, but I haven't saved up enough money yet.

Thanks to all you gents for the welcome and kind words. My brother-in-law was here tonight and with the rain we decided to have a 5 meter shooting session in the garage with the 46M. We are both 1911 nuts, but we really enjoyed having the option to shoot indoors this evening. My brother-in-law was impressed with the 46M’s trigger and accuracy. I need to get him out here on a nice day and give him some trigger time with the HW77 at 30 meters. So far this year I have shot more rounds through my pellet guns than I did with my 1911 all last year. I think I am into pellet guns for the long haul…

Nope, no hope. None. Laughing

Get a .25 Marauder for that tank.

Definitely has A.G.A.S.

There is no known cure for this syndrome... you can only treat the symptoms... Acquire more air guns and shoot often.

Welcome!....This is exactly how it was/is for me... Laughing As the boys have said there is no cure.Once we get that "itch" it can only be relieved by adding new toys to the collection.Personally I've got the pre-buy jitters where you know your about to blow some serious loot on your next rig,but haven't made a decision yet. It's now been narrowed down to five choices..... Rolling Eyes Laughing
Nice rigs by the way!....You have superb taste. Cool

Now now, it's just my experience in the field and I have had a lot of fellow colleagues who would have come to the same conclusion! And let's not forget:
