Ok today the benji broke down. A little roller on the arm fell out. So I can't cock it. I've been saying a disco next, and with credit from cross man I can up grade? To a disco. I do have serious concerns bout pcp
Thhe hand pump seams to be problematic & quite annoying if you want to shot all day.
Plus the disco has so many plastic part, that don't seam to be a supper long lasting riffle
Up here where I live, we don't have scuba shops, just ski shops
Now I could pull it of with co2, but that takes away from the 900fps I think?
I am really torn here. I am hoping someone can convert me --- please help
And for the np xl well it was a hard hitter, but I don't like stuff I can't count on so..... |

Disco has a good rep, but it will shoot slow with CO2.
Hand pumping is a pain. And the high pressure pump that comes in the package is prone to early failure.
I love my springers, but a Disco was on my wish list for a long time. |

| i say go springer! there are many fine choices and its a self contained unit. you dont rely on complicated tech stuff or the need for air. germany makes many fine examples. spend more money now and go to bed each night happy. good luck. they work for me. walt. |

I absolutely love my Disco.....100% reliable.and a light, compact ,hard hitting tack driver of a gun, super easy to pump by hand to 2000 PSI...If I could have only one of my air guns the Disco would be it......
The only down side is that it's so accurate it's sometimes boring....
The power, accuracy, and price is pretty hard to beat.A dialed in Disco is a nightmare for the critters....
After a-little time with one,you may just find yourself taking shots at distances you wouldn't even think about with a springer.Hey I love quality springers, don't get me wrong, but when you get out past 60 yards or so,a good PCP really starts to shine.I've heard of the issues with the Benji pump, but mine works just as well as the day I got it. |

thanks guys, they (benji) have a new break barrel called the colusus I believe, and I'm sure I misspelled it.
Cool thing is that it's NP w/ peep sights It didn't look as if it had a shroud tho. So thats a maybe thing
I am very interested in the accuracy, and range of the Disco things I've read lead me to believe this is a sick riffle
walter, self contain has always been my way. I really do prefer that way, and is the biggest issue that I'm facing. So thanks for saying it
once again thanks guys
p.s. I should say I dig the 1100 and it could be a simple fix |

You could also consider the "FX INDEPENDENCE" airgun..it's a PCP, but has it's own built in air pump...you might want to have a look at it.
