Can anyone help. A friend of mine found what appears to be an antique air pistol at a garage sale.
It is.177 calibre. There is a side lever that you work horizontally. The only markings are "The Warrior"and " Made in Birmingham ". I assume that is Birmingham in the UK as many fine air guns were made there.
Can anyone help.
Regards.

I'm sure your friend probably "stole" it. According to the Blue Book of Airguns, a Warrior is worth somewhere in the ballpark of $400 USD, Double that if in "mint" condition (mind you, these are "insurance" values).
Apparently they were made in .177 and .22 cal from 1931 to 1939.
Can you post some pictures of it? |

That's a pretty bold thing to say Eric, "stole". You never know what's at a garage sale, even famous paintings turn up at a yard sale. |

No- "stole" it as in at a garage sale he probably bought it for less than $50. |
