this is my cold weather shooting setup. garage window open with a clear line of sight to the targets. propane heater for the butt and the garage keeps the wind to a minimum. doing my best to shoot year round. its pretty cold here now. good dusting of the white stuff. heater helps keep the chill off my new 97k friend as well. Laughing works well for the occasional squirrel attacking the bird feeder too. Twisted Evil anybody else do this kinda stuff? walt. Mr. Green

I do the same during the winter, shooting from the conservatory I can just get 25m, mostly targets but the odd pidgon or magpie.

Outside is nasty, and the garage isn't heated, so I go to the basement. I can get 14 yards if I shoot from (what once was) the coal bin, but usually 10 meters. My butt heater is electric, perched on top of the washing machine.

Nice set up...SO your a mountain biker as well....me too.Nice wheel truing stand on the bench there.Park tools rock! Wink
My plinking area consists of a fenced in area about 15-20 yards on the side of the house.I'm surrounded by trees.I thought about popping off a window screen but the trees are so close, that it won't really work. There's a TON of squirrel in those trees.I can't do it where I'm at though 'keeping it legal"
However any ground dwelling rodents such as rats may just have to be picked off.... Twisted Evil
