| I have one. Neat little air pistol, but difficult to shoot accurately because of the short sights. Can be fired double and single action. Single action by pulling the slide back. Velocity on mines stays the same either way 380 ft/sec. Some of the Umarex pistols with an external hammer shoots harder in single action mode than in double action. |

cheers, I will post some later. I have been firing it today and I think its great. Just one question though.
Why is it that sometimes during shooting I have to cock it again, for example I might get 5 or 6 shots then have to cock again to continue firing?
other then that it works great

Since you mentioned this pistol, I played with mines again. It's a stiff gun to cock and the safety slide is also hard to move.
A couple of tips. When you open the magazine well, make sure the magazine doesn't fall out, it happens often to me. And make sure the pellets are seated flush in the magazine, otherwise you'll get a jam where pulling the trigger will be hard.
Otherwise , have fun with it. |

| Its a fun gun to shoot. I have the version with the laser sight, i get about 90-100 shot on a CO2 cartridge. |

hey guys another question
Does anybody find it very hard to turn the piercing knob after firing the pistol? I had to take a pair of adjustable pliers to give it a slight notch so that I could turn it and remove the co2, maybe a air tight seal causing it be tight? any help would be great

hey there again guys
After putting the pistol away for a month or so I got it back out again and am having a heck of a time inserting the co2 capsule. I find that either its too loose and I have to tighten the screw more before turning the piercing knob or that I tighten the screw too much and when I try to loosen it the co2 escapes, does anybody have any little tips they can share ?
Thanks
Jeremy |

That gun has at the bottom of the grip a Open (CW) and Power (CCW) engraved on it.
Instead of moving the knob 180 to Open, would go a little more, like 210. Once it is moved CCW then it will make a good pinch on the cartridge.
Step 1, right before installation of bottle.
Step 2, instead of 180, go with a little extra rotation, not a lot or the knob will get stuck halfway making it impossible to insert the mags. Once the bottle is inside the grip, the knob inside the grip tighten it as much as you can, dial the external knob similar to the pic, then crank it to Power.
It did happen to me one time and decided to dremmel a little whenever it stops halfway, and the Power does not go full CCW.
You can see in the pic I cut a little bit of metal so I can insert the clip for those times it does not let me go any further.
Luckily when I bought my CP99 compact from PyramidAir, the one that I received was the upgraded open slide design as I heard before use to be closed.
