does anyone know about this rifle? its priced about 190.00 and is rated as a 1100 fps in 177. cal. it is an underlever with a pleasing look about it. i have never heard of them. trying to get opinions on possible purchase choices from the more knowledgable than i. thanks, walt. Smile

Tech Force is Chinese. Crude but powerful. I had a TF99 in .22 years ago that was a real beast. I loved it. I finally got rid of it after the plastic sights broke.

Not a bad choise for tree rat killing, but you may out grow it and it doesn't have the quality feel of the next step up. Unfortunately, the next step up is a good hundred bucks more and up from there. Tech Force also suffers in the resale value department. If you want a knock around air rifle that you don't have to care much about, it's fine. It's a means to an end. It's not an RWS or a Beeman or a Theoban, but the price reflects that.

If you buy a Chinse air rifle, take the time to thoroughly clean it inside and out or even pay the place you get it from to take it apart and clean it. If you don't it will cough and diesel for 200 rounds while the crappy grease they pack them in burns off. There are guys out there who will disassemble, degrease and re lubricate them for a fee. It's worth the fee.

I have one in .22, It is a much better gun than the old qb 36 2/tf99 as it has a true 2 stage trigger. google AR3000 or TF87 a few reviews are posted

I also have the -87 in .22. Mine was chronographed at an average of 835fps using 14.3gr CPHPs. It continues to get smoother with time (I've only had it six months), and I enjoy it's accuracy and power. It's a big rifle, but the build quality is very good. I own an RWS-54/.22 too and that rifle clearly has a deeper bluing finish, and is too easy to shoot accurately. The 87 is a small challenge to shoot accurately comparatively speaking. And the checkering on the stock does not have the relief height of the RWS, so it's not as grippy. Still I reach for it more than I do the M54 because it is a challenge to shoot consistently accurately. But it will make satisfying groups if you do your part. An artillery hold works for me. Also the trigger on the 87 is an adjustable two-stage that is really very good. I've got the second stage very light and very short. I make myself feel for it when I'm pulling the trigger, and it responds with a clean break.

I bought this rifle for $152.00 shipped with a coupon code from Compasseco. It's a very good rifle in all respects for the price. Not top shelf, but a top bargain.

Oh, It's not for children by far, and not really for small adults, imo. The cocking effort takes some getting used to but once you can use a single smooth motion it's fine. It will help build your upper body strength, but only a little. I recommend one for anyone who's interested in a hard-hitting accurate rifle at a bargain price (but always look for a sale).
