How about this "my dog ate my homework"

Hello Mr. Cooper,
I will get your Schimel to you repaired by the end of this week. I have
had a rough year. My wife had surgery , I had to serve jury duty, and missed
quit a bit of time with numerous other instances. As far as a "freelance
business" from home my business is a full time business and yes it is from
my home. I would wager 99% or more of all airgun repair is done from shops
located at the repairman's residence. To name a few Bryan and Assoc, JG
Airguns, AB Airgun repair, Crooked Barn and I could name many more. I know
it has been a while and I understand your frustration. You have been very
patient and I appreciate that. I have been failing with my communications.
Please accept my apology. Things have settled down for now, also I have
retired after 36 years in the fire service and I have been catching up. I
just haven't gotten to yours yet. I will pull it up tomorrow and get it out
to you in operating order. Thank you and I truly appreciate the patience
you have exhibited. Have a great day.

It's a good thing this guy doesn't work for the army.

Are you sure you're not dealing with COMPASSECO? Rolling Eyes

Frustrating I know. maybe that's why compasseco is no longer.
I had a warranty claim that took 4 months to get resovled.
The only reason it did is one of the well known airgun reviewers
out there, which I am acquainted with actually picked up the phone on my behalf and talked to the owner asking him if he should no longer endorse
their products if this is how they treat customers. Rolling Eyes

get you poker face on. Evil or Very Mad
