Yeah, I guess. It's kind of stupid. Some good to honest guy bought an Mrod in the states and he got his gun taken in by customs and now a judge said it was illegal. "Because of the bolt action."
I fail to see how it could be so hard for the Police/law executioners and interpreters to just look at a dutch airgun dealer and see that they are available at a store.
So the forum I am on, are starting a sort of National Dutch Airrifle Association to get this kind of crap out of the way by making the execution of the law more clear, because at the moment it's to widely interpretable. We're not looking for a law change, just want to make the police and customs see that we're not doing anything illegal. Because right now they're just being stupid.
I've signed a petition and so have other air gunners from the NL. |
