I ordered a box with the pneuma I purchased from AOA and at least one out of ten pellets is either deformed/damaged or is a pointed pellet. I noticed a big price difference in the two in the pyrymyd air catalog and have nearly been through the boxed ones. They seem to have performed well but cost much more than the tins. That's just an approximation of course. Mind you, if they are mishandled in shipping, then damage could result, no matter what specific package they are in. If you got a mixed bag of different types/damaged units, etc- did you check to see if the factory seal was on the box? Sounds like someone put together a collection of random junk. _________________ ` I'd say "I care." But I'd be lying. The box is marked Die 1 however I am pretty sure die one only produces one kind of pellet. So either the qc at the mfg is off or something happened after they were made. That sounds odd to me as a tin seems to offer more protection (and cost more) than a box. When talking about blister packs are you talking about pellets being separated with each in it's own blister like medicine or a bunch of pellets in a pack together like Gamo's PBA's?   Posted: Thu Nov 11, 2010 2:10 pm rsterne Moderator Joined: 15 Jan 2008 Posts: 2998 Location: Coalmont, BC Crosman "boxed" pellets are supposed to be the cream of the crop.... They are even marked with the Die number.... If you got garbage in a box, my guess is that either it was opened in the store or somebody in the factory sabotaged it.... I have never seen the .177 shape before in a crosman pellet. Always kinda domed/pointed. I bought one box of the 14.3 Crosman Domed ...tried them in 2 different rifles...they were no more accurate than the 500ct. tins of the same pellet. Only difference was the price $22.99 plus shipping for the boxed ones.....$6.96 for the 500 ct. tin @ Walmart..NO shipping..Guess who won't be buying any more boxed Crosman pellets ?? _________________ HEY !! It does get confusing, can anyone post links or pictures of the various packaging for Crosman Premiers? The tape was not marked but there was no evidence of it having been removed and another piece put on.
