| Has anyone come up with a way to silence or cushion the slap of pump guns when pumping? I have a 1377 & when pumping it up, the slap against the air chamber is quite annoying, especially if you are hunting & want to be as quiet as possible. Another question I have is : is there any way to stop the movement of a skeleton shoulder brace?. No matter how tight I tighten the 2 screws, I get some rocking motion when pumping the gun. Thanks in advance... |

With the "slapping" go to home depot (hardware store) and buy some adhesive felt.
Stick it on the pump handle. It's what I have on my power modded
392. Just one small thin piece where it makes contact. |

| That's a nice pic. I can see why mine would make more noise. You have a nice wooden handle whereas mine is plastic. The handle is actually from a 1389, which has a deep groove that pretty much wraps around the air chamber. I assume that you were referring to Velcro, which is similar to what you described. I will give that a try. Thanks for the tip......... |

| You can get this felt stuff from the drug store too. It is in the foot stuff area, used for padding on corns. My Dad always called it mole hair. Walmart and Target will have it for sure. Any shoe or boot store. Great idea! |
