Could any one please suggest me for a suitable scope and pallets for it. price range for scope is about $60. Now got a Leapers 3/9X40AO...up to 350 shots still holding up.. Pyd-air has them in your prise range...Dam good scopes.. centre point scopes come from the same factroy good aswell.. but are a bit lower down the quailty chain... pellets..JSB Exacts..shoot well in most guns.. But tell me...how do you get those wooden pallets loaded into the bore. Springer rated means that it'll hold out on an airgun with a typical airgun-double recoil. Gizmos are stuff like zoom options and AO (focus). That being said, a springer rated gun with AO and zoom options should be able to hold out, and some of the recommended scopes also have this. But I don't personally like scopes that allow you to adjust a lot of things. They don't work for me, so I mostly go with fixed magnification and maybe AO, because at close range this does help a lot, as you can focus at close targets. _________________ BIG GAP   Posted: Sat Sep 25, 2010 9:36 pm rohitgopidi New Member Joined: 25 Sep 2010 Posts: 2 Hi , I'm planning to buy RWS 6X42 CL Air Rifle Scope with Illuminated Reticle The scope comes along with scope rings and I'm not sure if i have to buy a mount in order to fix the scope. i understand that the scope gets fixed to the airgun using the scope rings but then what is the mount for!!   Posted: Sun Sep 26, 2010 11:04 am donec Senior Member Joined: 19 Dec 2009 Posts: 836 Location: central Texas Pflugerville area Welcome to AGH rohitgopidi. The air rifle should have a built in dove tail or rail that you mount the rings onto. Some rifles do not have these and so you have to buy a mounting rail or something similar to hold the rings. It depends on the gun.
