Cotton tail rabbit recipe

Clean you rabbit, cut into pieces, like the legs and middle part in two, you should have 4- 6 pieces depending on the size of the rabbit.
In a frying pan, add just enough oil to coat the pan
Heat to med/ high and brown rabbit pieces on both sides about 6-8 min per side add salt and pepper depending on your tastes, and use a lid as to help cook it though and hold in moisture.
Next add 1 can of Cream Of Mushroom Soup with half the can of milk stir in scraping the bottom of the pan to release any browned bits as this will add flavor. set cook on medium heat for another 5 minutes.
Serve over a bed of rice. Hope you enjoy I do! Mr. Green

That is a tasty recipe for sure....works well for squirrel too.My wife won't eat either...because they are too cute,and fluffy.... Rolling Eyes Their even cuter laying out on a bed of mashed potatoes..... Twisted Evil

No... unfortunately not.She used to have rabbits as pets,so she doesn't look at them as good eating like we do.One of these days I'll get her to try it though...perhaps in a special casserole..... Razz Hey what's this.....oh nuthin..... Laughing Nah it's not squirrel,that's wild turkey.... Wink

Well, that's all swell and everything but then one day you'll be missing a leg and wonder where it went, and the next day you're eating dinner, which your wife made and you're like what's this? And she'll say "Nope, not squirrel..."
