The extra HP, larger chuck & bed length helps...

have a look for a small used capstan lathe...
they are dirt cheap here as theres such a small market
for them...should be the same there....once yer get them set up
its amazeing how fast they can be...The loop setters can be a head scratcher till yer get a handle on them...

pete

I thought the Metal Finishers were great in Auburn... These guys went above and beyond. Everything was isolated from the other parts to make sure noting came back scratched or damaged...

Greg from Blue Fork Design turned me on to these Local guys...

All done packaging a posted on eBay... Pray for sales... I love making air gun goodies and want to keep doing it...

We got a flu bug going through the house so Kyle and I have not been out in the shop much... Started the Sling Studs run... about 50 to start with...

I talked with the Metal Finisher and it looks like no one in the valley does black oxide... so the first batch will be cold blued...

Awesome..sounds like your local finishers are top notch.Speaking of finishing,I need to get down to the local powder coating shop, and see what they would charge me to do a run of grip frames.I'm thinking of doing some in graphite, and SS.... Cool
