Hey ya'll I'm new to the forum but stumbled across it when looking for a new gun. I've used this site to do most of my researching and it has helped tons! I'll explain my situation now..
We have a garden in the back and I got fed up with the rabbits eating plants and ruining my veggies! I had an old powermaster 66 but its old and I wanted an upgrade, so I bought a RWS 34. I'm looking forward to sighting it in and practicing. Then I'll kill some wabbit and try my hand at cleaning and cookin them bad boys! Wish me luck

I just picked one of these up a few days ago and love it.
The best advise I can offer is to shoot the doody out of it to get the barrel broke in. Mine has gotten more and more accurate the more I shoot.
Also find a pellet that you like and sight the gun in to that pellet. If you change pellets, you might (will) have to sight the gun in to match the new pellets.
I hope that you enjoy yours as much as I have mine. |

Welcome to AGH.
The D34 is a very good choice, lets see some pics? |

| Right now I'm taking a needed vacation with my girlfriend. Visit the grandparents, hang out at cedar point, then visit her sister in buffalo. Needless to say I can't wait to get home and unpack my new baby! I ordered some cheap crossman hollow points and some rws superdomes when I bought the gun. Airgundepot was out of the hollows in .22, but I'm looking forward to the domes. I figure some pesty birds, rabbits and squirrels will fall pretty well to the domes. |

| I looked up the basics of rabbit cleaning, and it looks like I'll be boiling it for a couple hours. Looks like thats a good way to make it a little more tender |
