Well I decided to turn my pack gun into a carbine, and throw some glass on it.The Barska red dot wasn't cutting it for me,as my eyes aren't all that great, and I needed to be able to hit nickle sized targets in the field, and keep things in the kill zone.A natural pistol shot I am not..
I've always been amazed at the steady hands, and lazer concentration of the pro caliber air pistol shooters, but that ability doesn't appear to be in the cards for me.The scope is a Hammers mil dot 3x9x32 AO.I wish it had an illuminated reticle, for low light pest elimination, but had to use what I had on hand.
The internals are still stock with the exception of a mirror polished hammer, and a hammer spring out of a 1377.The trigger, and sear contact points are polished as well to smooth it all out.I had considered installing a Boss valve,or hogging out the stock one,but I'm getting 25 good powerful shots, per 12 gram cart...so I'm happy.... Mr. Green

Thanks....It's a fun little shooter.Putting on the scope, and stock, have really improved my groups.. Rolling Eyes Laughing Perfect weather for C02 guns right now, where I'm located.I'll be off on the mountain bike today to look for some more shooting spots. Mr. Green Sun,and air guns...it doesn't get much better. Mr. Green

My thoughts exactly...I'm trying to get the Mrs. into riding and air gun sports etc. After being together for over seven years now,she realizes she's with a mountain bike freak who loves to bomb down rock gardens on his dual suspension KONA .She thinks I'm nuts for doing it...but I call it fun... Mr. Green I've told her that there are nice level areas where we could ride together,as she wouldn't be into hardcore technical stuff obviously.I've showed her where I like to ride...and she was like you actually ride down that???Nope the steeper part with the rock garden is on the other side of the mountain..... Rolling Eyes Mr. Green Twisted Evil
I do play it safe by riding with a buddy, when doing technical stuff.Always be prepared, especially in the high risk situations..... Razz
