is it me or the gun?????
mine is in .22
when i first got it it was tack driving with jsb 18.2 heavies.
then i was getting flyers. switched to beeman crowmags.kodiaks/fts.
dead on. well mostly. i get an occasional shift in windage.
1 or 2 clicks then i'm back on.

now, since the barrel is free floated as i understand- there is no contact
from the barrel band to the barrel, there is a slight movement of the barrel if the barrel is pushed on.
my habit. i set the rifle butt stock down against the wall like
you would any burner. this puts the weight on the rifle at the top of the barrel thus moving the barrel slightly.

i just ran for the first time in almost a year jsb's through it and it's dead on.

is it me or the gun??

any beeman pellet is also giving me an occasional shift in poi.

i'm thinking it should only be laying down on it's side not like how i put it against the wall-weight on the barrel.

Idea Question Idea Question

I can't imagine how the gun is supported when stored having any effect on POI....

maybe i'm not clear enough. Embarassed
there is like a good 1/16 inch play from the barrel to the band.
if you grab the muzzle you can move the barrel back and forth slighty.
this is how they're made. my thought is if it's lying against the wall
with the weight on the muzzle the barrel might not re-center the same
as before when picked back up. i recall the disco's being the same.

what else could this be? it's friggen accurate. i'm just having
to tweek the scope a few clicks every so often.

the on again off again with the jsb's is racking my brain. Mad

How can the barrel get bent whilst inside the shroud?

A buddy of mine has one. I'll ask him when/if I see him tonight, since I'm going to the range in Drachten again.
