I'm a long time shooter but I've been out of activity for a few years. My wife has recently taken up gardening and we have discovered the cute tree rats have a great need to dig up her potted plants on our deck. Thus the need to bring out the old .20 Sheridan pump that I've had for approx 25 years. Upon my return I found out that the old eyes just aren't what they once were. The old .20 still shoots like it did but I just can't get the eyes to cooperate. The Sheridan has no scope and whats worse is it has no provision for mounting one. So I visited a local sporting goods outlet and came home with the Gamo Silent Cat complete with Gamo scope. I really think the silent part was what triggered my purchase as I am now a city dweller with neighbors on either side but forest to the rear of my home. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions about how to get my shot group down to an acceptable range.

Welcome Mikey! ANd if you go to pyramydair.com (not a misspelling) You can find a mount for your sheridan. It's a much better gun than that gamo.

The Gamo isn't so bad- it should do what Mikey needs it to do. As mentioned, mounts for the Sheridan can be found, but as you have the Gamo already, see what you can get out of it. Shoot a few hundred pellets through it to break it in. You may find the Gamo scope isn't worth a crap, however. Also try some different pellets.
