6) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
7) 18 shots total, 1 at each Target, Up to 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using the Green

10) Entries need to be scanned or photographed and posted. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
11) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries, only one entry for each, but all rules must be followed.
12) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
13) An honourable contest for sport- to lie or cheat, is the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!
14) Each competition runs for 2 weeks. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT on the last Sunday.
15) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others

How nice of everyone to wait for me to shoot my target first!
Seriously, does no one shoot anymore?
Gonna let a paper puncher put you guys all to shame? lol

Well, this one was interesting... square frame in the round hole.
Looked really strange through the peep sight. One of the problems
was instead of letting the target center, my eyes kept trying to check
the corners of the square in the circle. Held some shots too long, and
eventually threw one out.....

I suppose someone has to give you a bit of competition oatring, not that you've got anything to worry about. Razz

I don’t usually shoot targets with the TX because of the weight, but I have been humping it around most days for the last week, and got through a couple of tins of pellets so I figured I’d shoot this entry with it. You need to go into training to shoot one of these free standing. Laughing

Date 26-5-10
Time taken 15minutes, and I needed it
gun AA TX200HC .177
Sight Hawke 4-12x50 AO
Pellet AA Field
Range 10m

Score
135/180

Al

Been busy trying to make some money.....I think people scores would be a lot closer to yours if we all had $3000 professional match/target guns as well Wink Laughing

My S410 is also gone in for repair, maybe I will try out my custom 1377 w/shoulder stock......

My target range is temporarily shut down until I finish my basement. I'll have it back open soon though. Twisted Evil

Decided I shoot this week; what the heck, someone has to come in last, right? When I finally got around to it and figured GMT from here I found I was several hours too late. Sigh. So I thought I'll shoot anyway for practice. Found the scope was a ways off center, so I had to resight it, so now there's holes all over the bottom of the target. I'm too late anyway, so I just go ahead and shoot it anyway. Well, I'm too embarrassed to post it; maybe 35 points, but some of them may have been from shooting at the bull next to the one that scored points.I haven't been shooting offhand at all, just been shooting off a rest and still figuring the best pellets for my rifle. I have about 700 rounds through it so it should be settled in pretty well. but I think I'm going to try changing scopes; the POS one that's on it now can be zeroed great at one session, then change POI an inch or so at 10 yards next time I pick it up (same pellets). When I get things straitened out I'll try shooting the comp target again. Or maybe I'll try the Sheridan next time. It just takes up so much time and effort pumping it up, makes it even harder to hold steady.

I *tried* to give you guys a little more participation at least. Smile

Maybe I should loan oatring my Gamo; it might be interesting for him, and I could find out for sure if it is me or the rifle that's screwed up. Or both. Smile

I'm going to get back to the competitions- time is apparently my enemy, but I am working on this!
