Why is it that airguns are not made in an AR ("black gun") style? Airguns can benefit from the addition of various devices (laser, scope, sight, illuminator) as much as airsoft or real steel weapons. I would sure like a bunch of Picatinny real estate on my Benjamin Marauder.

Also, I prefer the more modern look of a RIS rifle--although that's just a personal preference of course.

Cheers! / Greg

Let's be serious about this...

In short, because airguns really don't need that. If you have to do a tactickool breach and clear of your house, a Marauder isn't the proper tool. Fending off blue helmets is not the job of your airgun. I hate to say "assault rifle", because of the way the media portrays non-assault weapons. Your airgun doesn't need to look like or have the features of such.

Of course... for a price you can make your own parts and have it look like any other toy you want.

One of the members made a solid, anodized aluminum AR15 style stock and foregrip for his Condor (or was it a Talon?). Looks pretty sexy, but I think it's useless. So bust out the lathe and mill, and you can have anything you want. Joe might even be happy to make what you want (for a price).

UUUHHHHHHH..Air Force guns all come with like 4 feet of 11mm dovetail rail on them, and they are all flat black, tactical looking BA guns..

You can get scopemounts in all shapes and sizes.

There's also a scope with 3 rails.

I wouldn't mind some bayonette lugs on my air rifles. What else are you supposed to do when facing an army of 1,000,000 undead-zombie-bluehelmet squirrels?

Damnit Joe, now I want that one too... Faq-U

I still can't think of all the toys you could possibly need all those rails for, though.

Just to turn heads at the range... and make people wonder why you can kill beer bottles at 200 yards and not go "BANG".....
