Describe what happened - what in particular "didn't work"?

so if youve read what they say its says that start at 10 ft and as you go farther the pellet will rise well i did that and the pellet seemed like it was sighted in then when i was shooting from 25yds the pellet just went father down and was hitting the ground. what im saying is that the pellet went father down instead of going up

How far... because it may just be dropping from gravity.

Are you sure your scope works properly? Check this by using iron sights.

For this just shoot at 10yards, to be sure distance is not a problems. Most sighting devices may not work well below 10 yards, because the pellet is moving a pretty flat trajectory at this point. Iron sights don't just "break", if they won't exactly sight in that's fine (they are rough adjustments, usually), as long as the groups are good.

When you have "decent" groups, put the scope on and try sighting it in again at 10 yards.

to properly sight it in, you need a solid bench...you can make one with some books stacked or whatever...either way, i'd go more with 20-30ft, adjust your scope to the maximum zoom and set up your target...point dead center and pull the trigger without moving the gun...very gently. now look through the scope, find the hole, and adjust your scope to the hole, then point it back on the center of the target, shoot again...if it's off the mark, repeat the process...

some things to remember, make sure your scope rings and mount are tight and not prone to backing out...i put a tiny tiny dot of thread lock on my scope mount screws so it doesnt come loose due to vibration...

some things to remember, i re-zero my scope every time i switch pellets, and dont be surprised if you're shooting supersonic and your off your mark...and as always, the further out you go, the lower your pellet will drop...
