This rascal wandered in my yard looking for my garbage can one too many times. I had given him 2 warnings about a week ago but, you know what they say, "3 strikes, you're out!" He would have died with the first neck shot if my dog wasn't trying to bite him but, he adrenaline was high and filled him full of lead...11 pieces of CP Ultramag .22 cal to be exact I want to admit that it felt fantastic taking him out...There, I said it

| 11 shots? I'd call that a little bit of overkill. Just how did you "warn" the little barsteward? |

oddtodd: Overkill?, maybe. I gotta admit I could have stopped shooting it after shot #2 and, he would have died somewhere but, he kept walking and my dog kept harassing him and, caught up in the moment, I continued to unload on the critter cause, it was down right fun
I warned him by firing near him several times last week, just to scare him off. He would come back later that night and spoil my trash.
broommaster: I was using my break barrel Beeman RS .22 cal |

| How many did it take before it stopped moving? I'm assuming you kept shooting after it was dead? 11 shots would've taken a bit of time with a break barrel I'd think. Anyway, I had a coon ravaging my trash, and knocked my $2500 R/C helicopter off the wall when I accidentally left back door to garage open one night. I caught it in the garage one night but had no way to dispatch it...ended up just opening up the garage door and let him run off. I didn't want to get too close b/c I've heard of coons ripping a dog apart...didn't figure it was worth it. |

| I don't think 'coons do so hot against a 9 iron or a Louisville Slugger. |

I thought about that but had visions of it successfully jumping directly on my face and getting plenty of damage done before I got close enough (it was perching up on my garage door rails) . |

Naw, I stopped shooting when he ran into that bush he's lying next to. At one point I was actually trying to spine him so, he would quit running. I load my break barrel so fast you think I got a semi I can shoot on the run too but, I didn't shoot after he died. |
