I had to take apart the 1077 to do some barrel maintenance. So I did. I took it apart according to the directions on this website. At the step where you remove the cover to see all the insides of the gun, I took the cover off and a piece fell out. Later I took a spring off but I dont know how to put it back on. I know where it goes though. These two parts that I dont know where to put are a V like spring and a small cylindrical piece. I have pictures to help.
I the second picture, the object on the right is the cylindrical piece. The one on the left is the v spring. In the first picture, the v spring is with the pieces it was around. Where does the small cylindrical piece go and how do I put the v spring back in. Notice on the v spring that it has two ends sticking down, one longer one shorter. Please specify which end goes where. Also notify me if you can see the ppictures as I am not sure that I did it right. |

I have looked at it but it is not a close up picture of the spot I want to see and when I enlarge the image, it gets all fuzzy. |

You can leave it out. It's purpose is to block an accidental release of the hammer if the rifle is dropped or jarred extremely.
If this doesn't suit you, the spring goes in, with the spring ends facing upward at the top-most part of the housing, the pin goes through the spring ring and the hole in the tab and the tab goes towards the bottom of the receiver/housing- both spring arms are on the same/upper side of the tab. Once you figure it out, it's not so bad, but without an example sitting next to you, it could be a problem. |

I got the spring, pin, and tab in easy enough but after I had everything in, I pulled the trigger and the pin swung out and prevented the hammer from going fully forward. Is this right? I might actually just leave it out. And, where does the short round piece in picture 2 on the right go? |

You have the tab facing the wrong way- thus why it is sticking on the hammer.
I believe, and it's hard to tell from the picture, the sleeve is the one that should go over the pin on the hammer that the trigger lever rides on- reducing friction and wear between the two. |

After many tries of getting the springs to stay down and putting the barrel into position, I finally got it. Thanks for all the help. |

Yes that cylindrical piece goes on the thin pin on the hammer. Without it that pin will wear out fairly quickly. |
