How many dealers do you know are doing this, to "under-cut prices" against competitors?
Darn shame..

Not sure why you brought it up, but I'll bite. My experience with airgun dealers has been nothing but satisfactory across the board. Every vendor I've dealt with has gone out of their way to make sure things were correct and that I was happy with the solution.

Now, if you are talking about Canadian Tire, I don't consider them an airgun vendor. You will find open boxes, all sorts of stuff, but it certainly does not reflect on "real" airgun vendors.

My hats off to the great Canadian dealers I've had the privilege tp deal with.

cheers
Jeff

I actually pointed out a competitors price for a Desert Eagle to my local shop.
He was miffed & contacted his supplier to ask why the big difference?
The supplier said that outfit buys bulk quantities of re-furbs at a substantial savings.
Unfortunately the culprit charges his retail customers for NEW prices!!
I would name them but don't really need to here!
I also suggest we all Shop wisely & in person whenever possible.
There are some shady characters out there.

There is a 'shop' in Toronto, Ontario that does alot of this.

If it's the same place, no dealers will buy from them (they call themselves both a distributor and a dealer) and they are generally incompetent, possibly crooks- if they have been selling "refurb" and calling it "new" then I guess that have gone way over that line now.

Fortunately, vendors like this are the "exception", not the "rule".
