Sorry, I just gotta....(quote) 'I don't want you losing your rifle because some pissy old b!tch called the cops'
And ya wonder why there are so many people out there who think we're all gun toting freaks?
So some little old lady is concerned because one of her neighbors (who likely has never talked to her to explain their hobby) is out in the backyard with a firearm (for all she knows).
And she's the 'pissy old b!tch'.
Well...your the inconsiderate twit.
I've never had any problems with backyard shooting where I live...because I've always made sure to politely let my neighbors know about my hobby...and not once have I run into a 'pissy old b!tch'.
God!!! |

Broom master...so what killed airsoft 'over here' (where is 'over here')
In the US and Canada where there is a lot of airsofting we kinda all abide by some rules.
Don't go running around in public toting your super realistic M4 carbine.
If you're going to backyard shoot (really...not that smart) let your neighbours know...and a smart thing to do is let the local cops know as well.
Again...I don't know where 'over here' is... but the only time I've seen trouble occur over here (Canada) is when people have gone out playing Rambo in the neighourhood with no thought of letting anyone know what they're doing.
So maybe it's just a difference in perspective due to location...but I still say that anyone who has the attitude that some 'pissy old b!tch' complained when I ran around in full battle garb and very realistic looking airsoft is just plain old asking for trouble. |

I don't really give a flip if you want to knock my comments. As far as inconsiderate twit, I am considering the source. This twit wouldn't cut down a tree just because leaves blew into her garage, She called the building inspector when I built my fence which by my local code can be built 6 ft high without a permit. She called the dog warden about 4 times when both my dogs are neutered, up on their rabies shots and have a city license. She tried to have me arrested for getting one of my kid's balls out of her lawn. SHe tried to move the surveyor's stakes 2 ft her way because she says her property line goes to the telephone pole.
So as far as calling me a twit, You obviously didn't bother to find out why, a$$hole.
BTW, i shoot in my own basement range where I have an olympic 10 meter range for shooting any time I want. |

You can see it in the text under the avatar that looks like me.
My late grandma didn't have any trouble with guns. And she was right in the middle of WW2 with kids and all. Airsoft has been prohibited here because of several reasons. Cops can't tell the difference, Grandma can't and they are being used in robberies.
Even if someone is asking for trouble and swinging either a real firearm or an airsoft gun around, give him the bullet. That's what I say. As a police officer you're trained to shoot, right?
If a person is doing it in his yard within reason, what's wrong with that. |
