Just curious if anyone has tried the Marauder PCP on CO2 yet and if so, what kind of speed were you getting.
Thanks |

At 68* F Co2 pressure is 833psi
Compare that to whatever pressure the Marauder has been running at (i.e. 2000psi) and I think the difference will be pretty apparent.
The only reason to use a "Dual Fuel" gun- which technically any PCP could be called- is when HPA air is not available easily or conveniently. |

Well, I'm thinking of the guy who does not want to deal with a the "Under Water" gear or punishing himself with the pump, yet still wants a gun with the advantages of the Marauder.
Since the gun can be tuned for the low end of air - it would seem to me the gun would still have the ability to fire a pellet at a good speed in CO2.
Has no one tried CO2 yet? |

As sniper pointed out- maybe 600-650fps tops with a 14.3gr- and I bet that's pushing it
If you have no other option than Co2- ok. But, if you can buy a SCUBA tank and get it filled locally- HPA is the way to go. If you planned on dragging it through the trees and thus need more portability- get a small capacity HPA tank (i.e. a 3000psi 62ci tank) that will fill the Marauder reservoir a couple times in the field. |

Yep, two fills to 2500 psi shot down to 1500.... or six fills to 2000 psi shot down to 1200....
