What is your longest kill or best kill with a multi- or single-stroke pneumatic pump pellet air gun?

Mine was only about 20-30 feet (in the backyard, lol). I got a fat little dove right off the very top of the tallest tree in the yard. All I saw was a crapload of feathers fly in the air and then the bird disappeared. Pretty sure he landed in the neighbor's yard....It sucked.

That was using the Crosman 764SB, btw.

Depends on the gun. Search for rsterne's "uber pumper" as an example.

THe Uber pumper is about the best pumper I have seen. It will give you an idea of what yours does now and what it can do.

Dudes, the question isn't that hard, what was the longest kill that anyone WITH A PUMPER has had. Mr. Green

Check out the specs:

http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=2334

I'd guess 70 yards on that one. Then there's this:

http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=2335

Which I'm betting probably took a bird or three at 100+ yards.

Bob's guns- he would know for sure.

Took a feral cat at 70 feet with my Crosman 760 Pump Master, shooting Quick Silver pointed tip field pellets, and 10 pumps.I made noise, the cat lifted it's head, and I caught it in the throat and spine.Instant drop.

About 3 months ago,,got a crow at 46 yards (measured with a surveyors tape) away, and about 30 feet up a tree. No more of that CAW!CAW!CAW! WIth a .177 STormXT 7.9 Crosman pointed hunting pellets. Yes, I know it was a lucky shot, but that crow is STILL just as dead Cool
