They do fit into the magazine of the Gamo pt-80. They fit ok and just shoot them out with 3 pumps. But if you are then do you use the stick or just the cotton? If just the cotton how tightly do you pack it? NEVER in springers. Just shove the whole thing in there, sometimes it needs to be bent to get it in, then use another to get it inserted fully. It's easier to shove a q-tip through the barrel with a cleaning rod than a regular patch, most of the time. <- I only use the cleaning rod to push through on springers. _________________ "I never set out to be wierd, it was always everyone else who called me it" -Frank Zappa Speed is impressive, accuracy is deadly. In which case lint is of my least concerns, since accuracy would be rather poor. Never had a problem with Q-tips in any of my guns. Normally I carefully apply a bit of WD-40 (squeeze out excess) to the one end, and leave the other dry. Wet side goes in first, quickly wipe up anything near seals then get the rest in. Yes I use WD-40 near my airguns... no I'm not an idiot and get it everywhere, nor do I leave puddles behind that diesel. Never had a problem, and never will. Did I mention I RARELY, if ever clean the barrels on my airguns? If accuracy doesn't drop off, it doesn't need to be cleaned. However, you cannot just shoot one, for it is basically like Dry-Firing a Springer.
