Hye it seems I saw a table here with the necessary fpe to takedown certain animals, like birds, rabbits, etc. Any idea where its at?

And if Im just retarded and there isnt any such table, does anyone know what I can kill with 5.92 fpe and from what range?

I remember seeing a list too, but I can't remember where it is. I think it was 1fpe per pound of animal. I do remember that quite well.

So can I kill a dove with a 5.92 gun? And where will it die painlessly in 1 shot besides the head, lungs, or heart?

Unfortunately that is about the max for doves and starlings. I would hesitate on a crow though. I'd rather have 8 or 9 fpe for that. Is it a springer or a CO2 gun? That can make a HUGE difference on both speed and energy. Head shots are really the only way to get a bird or squirrel afaik. They have a built in escape mode that kicks in no matter how hard they they are shot. THey can go a serious distance it it's only a lung shot. In my youth I lung shot a deer and tracked it for at least a mile.

I don't think dieing is ever painless but if the shot is good then the death should be quick.
