Someone posted something about this on the dutchie forum, so I thought I might post it a bit around here.

Spread the truth! Mr. Green

Interesting.... It looks like a shortened MRod main tube with a 22XX pistol grip.... one a single shot, the other a repeater with a shrouded barrel.... Cool

Also interesting that the bolt isn't on the same side for both:

I got to handle it today.

The tube on the PCP pistol is the same diameter as the 2240, not the larger diameter like the M-rod.

They also claimed to have an 8 shot 25 caliber version or conversion kit for both the M-rod and PCP pistol. But this is probably still prototype, since they only had one at the booth. The salesman also mentioned that a stock kit will be available for the new PCP pistols.

If this is true, then hold onto your hats, guys and gals.... From the pics I saw, the breeches are raised like the MRod and the one model is a repeater.... does that mean that when the parts finally filter down for these guns you will be able to buy a repeater breech that will fit a 22XX ?.... Twisted Evil

sort of.

The PCP pistol's breech has a different hole pattern to mount to the tube and possibly valve. it uses 4 offset from center screws, much like the marauder rifle. The valve also seems to have the 2 extra side screws, like the discovery valve does.

The brochure says the PCP pistol can handle up to 3000 psi.

That's what drill and taps are for.... Twisted Evil

Every 22XX PCP conversion I have done needs to be drilled for the Disco valve mounting screws.... what's a few more holes.... Rolling Eyes
