Hey guys, this is my first competition, I'm new to the forums and just started getting back into airgunning (digging my stuff out of the basement after 5+ years).
My first entry, and I think I picked a bad time to start, as this was a tough target for me personally.
Crosman 1077
4x32 Centerpoint scope
.177 Daisy Precision Max flatheads ( 7.8gr)
10.3 meters
7 min 17 seconds
score 40/140 BOO!!
This gun is obv. not for target shooting like this and the pellets I'm using are horible. My scope has a fixed parallex at 30yards and it's totally noticable if you don't have a consistant cheek weld at this close of a distance. Never the less, still fun!

Hi Fastsc92 welcome to AirGunHome target shooting, don’t worry about your score, with a scope zeroed for 30 yds you did well, I’m surprised you could see the smallest dots.
Hopefully I’ll get to shoot tomorrow, snow permitting.

I re-zeroed for 10meters, but I really had no idea how much parrallex error effects things. This scope was only $28, and it fits the 1077 well for backyard plinking, but I think I should just get me a bug-buster or pretty much anything that has an adjustable objective. For the small dots, I couldn't see them at 4x, I just hoped for the best and aimed for the center. As you can see...it didn't work out too well.
Anyhow, I can't wait until the next challenge is posted! |

Just wait till I get the chance of pulling my 2240 out.
I want to try both rifle and pistol but the people upstairs don't understand. |

How much it 10 meters and 5 meters in feet and inches? I have a 49 foot basement so I know I have plenty of room. |
