Well I went out hunting again today. It was very still in the woods today.
Was making my though the woods, & stopped for awhile against a tree, to see if I could spot any squirrels.

Then I hear a squirrel barking at me. But where is he, I can’t see him because for all the leaves on the trees! So I slowly move to the sound of him barking.

Still no squirrel, make my way to a tree, for a rest for the gun.
Then all of a sudden I hear him again, he's real close. There he is!!

He is mad has hell, & barking even more now at me. Then I see him!
He is running down the tree head first. He stops in plain sight, in the open.

He raise the 9mm Daq outlaw to my shoulder, pull the trigger!

Down he comes dead as a door nail, at 30 yards. I hit him in the head with a 64gr. lead ball. Hunting with a air gun, is a lot of fun! You have to get in closer for your shots, & stalk more.

Using a air gun gives the hunter, a better hunt!

Good little Hunting story there Sandman!! Nice shot too!

Just out of curiosity is that a Red or a Grey Squirrel? Looks a bit Red to me! though obviously there aren't any laws on shooting the Red's over there, Hard to tell which it actually is though!! Maybe the American variants are a little bit different to the British ones! I've never heard a Squirrel "Bark" before! They might be a little bit more aggressive your side of the Pond!

Stevie Thumb Up!

9mm to kill a squirrel? You just like shooting the 9mm don't you? Mr. Green

Strangely, I've noticed I have very few squirrels around me anymore (I didn't shoot them)- I see more chipmunks than squirrels these days.

Thanks guys!

That is a red squirrel, or some times called a fox squirrel.

And yes I love shooting 9mm airguns!!!
I had to kill something with it, & hey it's that or the neighbor’s cat!! Shocked

It was my first kill with the gun!
