I need to rebuild my Gamo CFX. I discovered it has a broken piston spring this week. I would like to take this opportunity to learn ho to rebuild it. Anyone know where to get a tune kit for this?

Thanks in advance for help.

Stephen

You need to go to Gamo for direct replacement parts. About the only "tuning" part I am aware of that is widely available is an upgraded trigger, i.e. the GTX II or GRT III units.

http://www.charliedatuna.com/airgun_docs/B19%20Super%20Tune.doc

The above link is for a "B18 or B19" which are copies of the CFX and has the same layout. I don't know if there is a "genuine" CFX tuning guide out there...

The b19/18 are brake barrels..The CFX is a fixed barrel/underlever.
The only copy of the CFX on the market are the Kral underlevers..

For parts...spring/seal etc ..go to J Maccari...

The E3650 spring is what you need...

Pardon me, you are correct- sorry- the trigger is a copy between the two, so what the heck was the B18/19 a copy of (I'm having a mental lapse today it seems)...

Good luck getting any parts from Gamo. They usually demand the gun be sent to them for any and all repairs.

Good luck,

Come to think of it I wasn't really impressed with my one,and only contact with Gamo.I was trying to get a schematic e-mailed to me for my whisper .22.First I was told that one doesn't exist, then I was told that I had to be a retailer for Gamo in order for them to give me that info????? So I ended up getting the schematic online for the Gamo VH.....same guts....go figure.Gamo does make some pretty good springers, but I just didn't feel they really cared about helping the customer. Neutral Huh?
