Here's a link to an online manual for the newer B-S 392/397:

I sent a note to Crosman to see if they can provide a link to one- and a member here named "lauchlin" has a huge repository of this sort of thing- I'll see if I can contact him about this.

Here's what Crosman sent for the G392/G397:

Hope that's what works.

Grant Stace sent me a photograph of his original Owner's Manual for a Benjamin G392/G397. I edited it and converted it to a PDF file. I'm going to try and post it here just in case anyone needs a copy.

Very nice- that would be the "original," not the later version!

From what I gathered from Grant Stace who was kind enough to send me the manual, he walked into a store and found an old G392 sitting on the shelf marked down for quick sale.

As I remember it was apparantly sitting on a shelf in the back room for years. He picked it up and posted a picture on one of the Forums. I wrote him and asked if he had the ability to scan the manual but he only had a digital camera. He took pictures and sent them to me to help with my collection. I wanted to post the PDF but am unable to do so.

I finally got the later one from Crosman but I haven't fixed it yet. It doesn't look near as good as the photos Grant sent me.

Hope someone can benefit from it.

Steve
