these were shot at 15 yards from my marauder into a 32 oz water filled metal coffee can. they don't exit. Shocked they do leave a dent in the back of the can. muzzle velocity is 820fps+. the one near the left expanded to around .27cal. Shocked
fts and kodiaks zip right through.

i've nailed 2 rats this week with 'em. Twisted Evil
i've found my favorite pellet/gun combo. Cool

the kodiaks don't really deform. just a lot of penetration. Wink

the skirts flatten. that's it. Cool

Odd. The more they deform and lose their shape after impact, the better the pellet.

Sniper- have you tried taking a knife and making a few slices into the head of the pellet? So as to let it expander easier like a segmented bullet.

I think that slicing the pellet would effect the accuracy more than it would help to expand upon impact.

I saw someone had no accuracy issues at 10m. They did however do a precise job cutting the heads.

i'm not cutting anything. this gun loves crowmags. Twisted Evil

another thing i did was shoot hard dried dirt clods from all my plumbing work:

crowmags kinda bounce off, kodiaks blow right through. with the size if the cup on 'em they take with whatever is in their way. i'd like to see the exit channel on a rat. still can't find one. the last one (which was huge) flew up a few feet in the air, scurried away then did the fish in the ivy. that was with a body shot. Twisted Evil

and i'm only paying $6/tin. Laughing
