Not that I will be "Charging" with it... It is a heavy beast... Super comfy to sit right behind and shoot with out haveing to cock your head sideways. With the Bi-pod and your elbows... firmly on the shooting bench, you have 4 points of contact to keep everything nice and steady. I am getting 10 realy good shots per fill to 2k. I will be breaking it in on Saturday and running it past the crony... It sports the following: RJ Machine Short Riser breech Custom Grips and forestock by Mike C. in FL (Green Forum) Custom made 16"x.75"ODx.22 Cal. Steel Bull Barrel (Threaded for barrel goodies) Discovery Fill Valve, Cap, Valve Stem, Hammer spring and Gauge. Custom extended brass valve with Intregrated Guage Port (Extended past the 2260 Gas tube roll stamp for safety. - Bob... Great minds think alike) Chromed Trigger Shoe Tuned Trigger and spring guide BSA Mil-Dot optics Short Bi-pod Temp. AR-15 Muzzle Brake.... I measured up my Disco when I had it apart.... I'm going to make the integrated guage extension on my 2260 so that the guage is in exactly the same place as in a Disco.... just because there is no reason not to, and then if someone wanted to use a Disco tube it would work perfectly.... Did you notice that I found a 0.040" wire hammer spring that lets the Disco shoot strings starting at 2400 psi?.... The 41 FPE Disco.... gotta love it.... I wonder what you could get using a 2260 tube, stock Disco valve (with the integrated guage extension).... Pump it to 1800 and adjust the hammer for a nice flat shot string at about 700 fps or whatever you could get for at least a 10 shot string with not more than 4% variation?.... I ran into the same thing mounting my QB79 tank block to the Disco valve and the guage mount in my 22XX PCP.... Each one ends up being a custom for that individual valve.... I can do a univesal if I eleminate the gauge port... Like the first one I put in Guy's HPA 2260. It gets cronied this Saturday. And he did not want a gauge. All our fill stations have gauges. Plus with no gauge port I can boar the ID to 7/16" ID for just a hair more volume delivered right down to the spring seat. My opinion is that with the seal in front of the roll stamp... I am comfortable with 2k fills... On Bench b!tch.... I did not add the extra screws to the sides of the valve. The Gauge adapter locks the whole valve in nice and tight. Zero tolarance. the gauge does not even move side to side like on a Disco. How ever... I did drill and tap for a 8-32 disco valve screw underneath the valve and enlarge the tube to fit the head of the screw and it's all nice and snug... Makes for cleaner sides of the gas tube... BTW... For the Custom Shop 2400 guys... No Roll Stamp to begin with.... So a Disco valve is suitable right out of the box... Insider info.... Finaly got it out of a crosman employee... The Roll stamp is the only dif between the strength of a 22xx and Disco tube. They are the same hardness. But this will neither be confirmed or denied if you call Crosman... It is considered propriatory info... I have 68 ci 3000/2000 regulated fill tanks on their way.... $125 for thoese who are interested.... The next order will be Carbon Fiber wrapped 4500/2000 fill tanks... Ouchie expensive to order but you will get twice the fills... They will sell for $185ish Both can be filled to capacity at any Paintball shop that fills tanks. _________________ Say "NO" to BB Gun Wars...
