| Bought a Big Cat Saturday evening at the local W-M. Mounted the included 3-9 scope and fired 5 rounds before the light left. Took 2 rounds to get in the black of a 3/4" bullseye, and the next 3 rounds made a neat cloverleaf. No dieseling, not nearly as violent a firing cycle as the Beeman RS2, and more accurate. It doesn't appear as well made as the Beeman, but after more shooting today, it's very apparent that the gun is more accurate than I am, even from a bench. Got to get one of those GTX triggers, tho, the trigger pull is horrible. |

yeah, they are decent guns.I put a new trigger on my .22 Whisper, and it made all the difference in the world.it is now one of the most accurate guns I have. Some people seem to not like Gamo much, but i have had much fun with mine. |

If you read through previous posts you'll find some Gamo bashing. It's related to their parts policy and their marketing tactics - not the guns. Go out and enjoy yours.
The replacement trigger isn't a bad idea. It's not just Gamo - look at the list of guns the GRT or GTX triggers will fit. They all have the same design with the same problems. |

Hey Griff,
Yeah I picked up a WM Big Cat a while back myself. Installed the GTX in it and have been very happy with it ever since!
I see you're in Arkansas! I'm near Lake Ouachita, where 'bouts are you? |
