With my Marauder plans off the rails- I may end up getting a Discovery.

Have their been any people who have made power improvements with the Disco?

Not adjustable power output, but increased power via valve mods and/or the like?

How about people who have had the Disco components tested to handle more than the 2000psi "rating" of the rifle?

Lose the aluminum Valve Body and use a brass one from a 2240,50 or 60.

Drill & Tap for the side screws. 8-32 DO NOT PENITRATE THE CENTER... Same depth as the Disco valve.

Use the DiscoFront portion of the valve, stem and spring.

Mod the same way as a the other 22xx valves

Read Bob's valve mods... You can do the same in brass....

Use the 1/4" poly tubing for your tx seal and keep the rubber seal that sits on top of the valve.

955 right out of the gate with out adding hammer spring tension... with CR Premier HP's

Same mods I did to my Disco wana be 2260 carbine with a 18" barrel.

And one hell of a air hog.....

Joe

BTW.... I ooopsed with the Scuba Tank valve and put 2200 psi in it... No extra power... in fact the opposite... I had to shoot it down to the power curve... Too much pressure on the valve stem...

I knew I'd seen that somewhere- Of course it was right here. Doh!

I'm going back to re-adjusting a scope now- probably safer than risk asking for redundant information again!

Thank-you
