Mine is a 1997. Where can I find clips for a 1997? Do they even make earlier clips? Would the 2001 clips work on my rifle? The later ones used that 5-pellet clip (Crosman Accessory #0401). I don't know the complete history of models starting/ending- but if you are currently using a 66 that has a 5-shot clip, the ones from Crosman will work- and obviously they've confused their dates online. If you don't have a clip- you probably have the single-pellet only model. Do you have the original owners manual that came with you 1997 version? Does it indicate if your used a 5-shot clip (or could?). What I'm really saying is, if your gun was one that came with a 5-shot clip from the factory- you can use the accessory clip being sold. If your owners manual doesn't indicate this and you have no 5-shot clip on it right now, I think you're beat. The guns using the clip had a deeper slot for the loading port to be able to hold the clip in place if I'm not mistaken. I only know from the serial number that it was made in 1997. The slot in the loading port is definitely shaped differently than the current ones.
