i looks like what i wanted it to look like. i made the stain with 4 different materials. 7 coats of stain. 5 coats of satin polyurethane. it's next to the disco(sold) in the first pic. DAMN i love wood!!!  what is funny is the color takes on different hues depending on light. it bounces from red to purpleish to brownish in color.
