Bought a completely disassembled SSP250, used the shroud and trigger for my 1377c.

Assembeled all the parts today and what looked like bits and pieces turned into this project. I'd like to see it in working order again.

Unfortunately some parts are missing from the valve assembly:

151-017 VALVE WASHER
38-028 SCREEN
38A027 PIERCING PIN

I can get the last one @ target-master.nl but not the washer and screen.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

I don't think you need the screen. IIRC some people take them out to allow more flow.

Brute, don't you own another SSP250? I don't think that this pistol uses a piercing pin. Neutral

I first looked at the other SSP250 valve and noticed it has got a piercing thingy, then took the valve unit from the project's SSP250 apart, compared the contents with the exploded view and noticed 3 parts missing, one of those is listed as 38A027 PIERCING PIN in the list below the exploded view which I dowloaded from Crosman.

Strange. Neutral So parts were missing after all, this is pretty weird. I'll see if I have some laying around. Maybe you can ask Teun from lb.net if he has the parts.

I'm looking into my own parts now.

Will a modern 2240/50/60 valve fit?

Broom.... do you have a left over from one of your conversions?

Lucky, if I had someone like that you wouldn't be owning the SSP :p

Well, maybe you would, because I suck at pistol shooting. Mr. Green
