I used my 22XX PCP to determine the Ballistics Coefficients of a wide assortment of pellets today.... Some of you will remember the non-PAL BC Charts I published about a year ago.... This time the velocities (with standard pellets) is in the ~895 fps range instead of ~495.... with muzzle energy ranging from 24 to 27 FPE.... Here are the results:
Most of the BCs are NOT much different than the non-PAL ones.... If anything, many wadcutters are a bit worse, while many round-nose pellets are better.... In addition two "Specialty" pellets, the JSB Predator and the Beeman Crow-Magnum seem to perform better at the higher velocities as well.... Those pellets showing significant improvement over the non-PAL numbers have the BCs shown in bold.... 
The clear winners for Ballistics Coefficient are the JSB Exact series in all weights (14.3 gr. Express, 15.7 gr. Exact, and the new 18.0 gr. Heavy).... and the 21.6 gr. RWS Magnum (same as the H&N Barracuda and Beeman Kodiak).... Honourable mention should go to the Crosman Premier and HollowPoints and the JSB Predator.... These were the ONLY pellets that maintained over 20 FPE at 25 yards.... 
I hope you find this information useful.... Ballistics Coefficients are a funny thing though.... you can't expect to be able to extrapolate the results (ie don't think a gun shooting ~700 fps will have the BCs half way in between, it may not).... If someone wants to send me a small quantity of EunJin 28 gr. Domes (25?) I will add them to the results....

#1..FABULOUS CHART.(caps). just about right for mine. 
i thought BC was totaly dependant on bullet spec,(shape, weight, caliber).
Did you calculate the BC from your numbers/measurements? |

The Ballisctics Coefficients were calculated using the muzzle and 25 yard velocities using ChairGun2.... They are the ACTUAL values, using my gun, for those pellets....

Thanks Bob, Great info. all the techi stuf that us foothill billys just don't understand condensed down to a few "choice pellets" and eliminating the crap shoot of buying pellets.
I go through more than 2000 Premiers HP's in a month in my Xman Airsonal. More if I have to toss a tin to one of the Guys.
My barrels and hands are well seasoned with them... (Sometimes my face too. We just call it camo paint...) A dirty pellet that can easily carry on target past 100 yards and less expensive than most.
Nailed my first 6" steel target using no rest, open sites and my wife's custom 2240 three times at apx. 100 yards... using the Premiers HPs. Got witnesses... |

| i'd have to agree. they are good, that and the premier ultra mags. i get 500 at mac-1 for less than $8. |
