Do you mean a LDC (lead dust collector)?
Those are usually designed as silencers and sold to "collect lead dust"... but we all know what they are really for. |

make a muzzel brake unported....but have it hang past the end of the barrel 50mm...with the outlet hole as small as it can be...say 7mm..
giveing you a chamber at the end of the barrel...the OD of the barrel & 50mm long with a small out let hole .....
what you have got is a muzzel brake thats acts as the first stage of
a silencer.... and its the 1st stage that dose most of the work....
The AR6 one Joe sent me would be perfect with out the ports , even joe's one with the ports quitens the AR a little.....
And it would look no diffrent to any other unported muzzel brake because thats what it is |

The only thing about Disco’s and silencers is that you need to extend the barrel to clear the air connector, so that you can fill with the silencer installed, and this makes the Disco look terribly long, and with an 8 inch silencer on the end they look more like a “Kentucky Rifle”, and is the only thing putting me off buying one.

Plans for ported and non-ported Disco brakes are in the works. They will be machined much like the front sight. Relieved for the gas tube and fill fitting to keep it tight and not extend the barrel too much... Just waiting on my Disco to get here to finalize the fit. Due in on the 18th...
Kanyon... It only seems quieter... It just disperses the sound waves in different directions... Much more noticeable comfort levels with PCP than Co2... Go figure... |

| I worked on a prototype for one awhile ago, was easy to make it just made my shots pull to the left, but then again I'm a carpenter not a machinist |
