Why don't you try a PCP. It's not that bad. You'll have to be saving a bit longer though. Mr. Green

It's the hassel of getting a air tank filled, there's no one near to me and I don't fancy pumping by hand.

I guess that makes sense.

Do you own a Haenel? It's a repeater, and quite fun to own.

Hi Al

Why not try the Crosman 1077?

http://www.airgunsbbguns.com/Crosman_1077_CO2_Semi_Automatic_Air_Rifle_p/cro1077.htm

multishot, uses 12 gram C02. although you can upgrade it to use an 88 gram C02. Wink

Al already "test drove" a 1077 awhile back. There's a thread about this here or maybe in the 'Rifles' section and it didn't thrill him (with good reason if you find that post- his test gun had some serious problems).

In any event- good to see your first post here cobracommander- Welcome.

Hi Cobracommander

Yes as Eric said I did try one a while back and it wasn't very impressive, but since then we found the problem and it's OK now, so a 1077 is back in the book as a possible.

By the way welcome to the site I hope you enjoy your stay.

AL
