Hi all.

Not my political view, just my problem!

In my quest to find a left handed PCP, I am consideringt the HW100k. I have looked at this rifle, and it seems great, reliable manufacturer, good reviews etc. However; although having a universal stock I see the action is on the right. Are there any fellow lefties out there who have this rifle, and can state one way or the other if it is suitable/usable for me?

My only other option I see is the AA S400 (carbine or classic?)

Hm, you'd have to contact the dealer for left-handed availability... It can be a bit of a pain in the a$$ if you're left handed... Neutral

That's one of the things stopping me from going pcp, I'm a leftie. I can shoot right handed but am not as accurate, nor is it comfortable. On the other hand if I just dove right in and got a righty-only gun then it would be a good thing to get me switching to right handed (more available everything).

Are you saying left-handed, or left eye dominant? They don't always go together.

Hi
I shoot left handed, and though I also look through my left eye, I do keep both eyes open. I am also a keen photographer so this is a practice I have learnt.

I understand about the dominant eye idea, but I do not honestly beleive that I could ever shoot right handed.

My concern is the action of the rifle, the AA s400 has a full left handed action, but the HW seems to retain the action on the right? Is this a problem for lefties, or can it be configered to left?

I think you're gonna want to go with the Air Arms then... Neutral There isn't a huge difference in price, is there? Both are around a € 1000 here.

If I cannot get a reasonably new one second hand then I will have to buy a new one. I see Blackpool Air Rifles as one of the cheapest, does anyone else know anywhere cheaper?

Thanks for everyones help so far.
Carl.
