Here you can freely post your negative thoughts on anything bad or wrong you've encountered in the sometimes less wonderfull world of Airgunning. This'll probably be filled up with Gamo bashing, but don't hesitate to put something other then that in here too.
Happy bashing |

| It's not just gamo. Has anyone dissed daisy lately? They are pretty crappy too. At least some of their pistols are. Mine won't stay shut through an entire clip. It always pops open on about the third or fourth shot if you don't stop and take time to reset the latch. It's a 617x btw. |

I agree that you'll probably never hear someone tell a story about how they dropped a squirrel at 100 yards with their Daisy. Most of their products are aimed at beginners in the shooting sports. That's both a curse and a blessing. If you talk with a powder-burning shooter, they'll probably say their first gun was a Daisy - but their awareness of airgunning remains limited to that one (probably) lever-action BB gun.
On the other hand, there is a strong collector market for Daisy's of all kinds, and their Avanti line is ubiquitous in entry level/youth competition:

More than any other manufacturer, Daisy is committed to shooter education. Look at their website - instead of wild boar snuff videos, it's plastered with references to safety and responsibility. Daisy is actively involved with groups like 4H, Junior ROTC, Boy Scouts, NWTF, CMP, etc., both with product support (rental and sales) and program development:

While I will join in "bashing" some of Daisy's products for adult uses, I have no problem defending their contribution to the shooting sports. |

| Oh, I know how much daisy is involved with 4-h and scouting, and my boy's first gun will be a daisy buck. But I don't care for any of their so called powerline adult products. The only thing I have found good with powerline so far is that they make a decent for the money scope. Everything else I have bought powerline has been a hunk of junk. |

| I don't hate Gamo per se, but I had a PT 80 that should never have left the factory. Wasn't worth the space it'll take up in a land fill. Gamo seems to have trouble with...scrupples, and possibly quality control. My son has a PT 80 that works just fine and hits where it's aimed. Go figure. |
