Well, lets see, just the other day I was thrown off the "making and repairing airguns" forum administered by that pe***rt Larry Durham and my initials (first two) are CW. Coincidence? I think not! It is a movement against all CWs! I was once told that I could not have a job because of my CWness! I know I've been paid less because of it. Things are getting better though. CWs in the old days were hunted down by masked riders and hung for just looking at women with other initials.

Umm, CW got banned? When? I definitely want to know why.

Seeing as how this happened over a week ago- it's surprising it took anyone this long to notice.

He was banned for what we could call "conduct unbecoming" both as a member of the forum, and as an adult.

To lay it out- he and another member hijacked two separate threads with a back-forth commentary of insults. It was tough to determine if they were jokes, or if the situation was the start of an online brawl. Either way, these posts came across in a manner than I would think any reasonable person reading the threads would likely be thinking "whoa- is this the sort of forum where I would want to participate?"

So, the posts of both parties were removed, anything not pertinent to the topic/question originally asked were deleted. Apparently cw did not take kindly to this, nor did he want to look at it from another person's point of view and in his upset, decided to start editing and deleting a number of his own posts that were useful and helpful to other people- leaving holes in topics, responses to some of his posts by other people nonsensical, and then cleared out all the pictures he had posted as well. This occurred on at least two separate occasions over a 24-hour period.

At that point he was merely "suspended" to stop this apparent attempt to lay waste to the forum while I waited for him to calm down and think about it. Apparently calming down and thinking about it was not for him- and within 48 hours emails were received stating things like "f#ck you", "f#ck off" and so on.

If this isn't reason for being outright banned- I'm not sure what would be- waiting for actual threats of physical violence to other members maybe?

Anyways, 'cw' burned his bridges with his own conduct and now cannot participate here (as well as on a number of other forums where he has also been banned for what I understand is similar conduct in a couple of cases, and apparently ripping people off on deals on at least one more). While he was contributing and acting appropriately here, we were quite willing to ignore his transgressions on other forums and let his conduct at AirGunHome be our guide. Since he has proven he cannot ultimately control himself and seems to prefer to act in a manner far below what would be considered reasonable by most normal people, and then capping it off by trying to remove good content from the forum and becoming abusive when this is curtailed- he is gone.

Beyond that, there is nothing more to be said about this situation and no real point to having this topic continue on. What's done is done and hopefully people can understand the "why's".
