That Lucznik looks like a pretty well engineered air gun Lauchlin, and looking at the price of £20-£25i airgun range I would guess it must have been made in the 1960s?

Lucznik means "archer" in Polish.
How does the trigger adjustment screw work? Sear engagement? Trigger spring tension? |

The barrel latch looks a good bit like the one on my Haenel Model I D.R.P. circa 1928 and the trigger adjuster could be right off of my Haenel Model III D.R.P., same vintage. Wonderful old time craftsmanship. Maybe the best of the post-war guns that followed the old designs. Not bad power, either, if it shoots near to what the article states.

B - 1968

Lucznik without letter is older than 1967 ( practically most of them ).
Lucznik don,t means Archer in Poland.
Lucznik 188 was sold as Archer in Great Britain ( and maybe other countrys ).
Lucznik was also sold as Mars 87 / 187 ( Also Slavia and Gamo was sold as Mars airguns ).
I have 3 Lucznik - two Lucznik 87, and one Predom Lucznik 187.
Could have severals of Lucznik, but I go for airguns in good conditions.

he has provided me lots of parts for Lucznik such as spring with thicker coils, leather piston seals, Polymer piston seals, barrel seals, rivets ( both types ),and front sight, trigger spring, and he will provide me screws and other parts later.
Lucznik 87 / 187 / 188 is also a copy of one of the Haenel models. |

| I have several Predom Lucznik Wz. 1970, all of them with CR and HS serial number prefixes. I guess they mean something after 1970, but what? |
