Been busy in the shop & out shoveling the snow, so I just saw your post.
I too am located in central Hoosier land, just a little over a mile east of the great mound.
Some say this airgun hobby can be addicting, but don't believe them, those unaccountable future purchases will be due to "enthusiasm". Just day before yesterday, on my return from a "truck sale", I entered the house with a couple "packages" and was greeted by my wife with a J....C..... not two more! So if the significant other in your household begins greeting you too with a quaint turn of phrase, you'll know that it's ok, you have just acquired a sincere "enthusiasm" for a new hobby.
To get back on message - AirGunHome is the best place to be if you enjoy airguns

Already there  . The wife saw my looking at an Air Force Talon on the web. "Why do you need another one? You already have one."
"Yeah, but this one is different."
"Different? What does this one do that your another doesn't?"
Hmmm OK well ... both are Air Rifles ... I could go with if you have to ask than you'll never get it. Well I don't like sleeping on the couch so that is out.

At this my wife smiled and walked away knowing that another toy was coming into my growing collection(all powder burners but making up for it now). |

Does she have any hobbies or interests? maybe there's someting you could compare it with. You know.... "It's like why you have 12 pairs of black (red, white, etc.) shoes."
Helps sometimes
...of course, you could always try to get her interested in "backyard targets" or someting, then she'd want air rifles to...don't know if that's an option. |
