About two weeks ago I bought new shoes at a shoe-store called "Aktie-Sport". Trendy sneakers, from "Le Coq Sportif" (The sporty cock) which is a french brand, and because 'tis french, I figured it would be trendy alright, and I wanted something trendy, because I felt like buying something trendy. Wanna fight about it?
If I wanted to switch them I should come back in 8 days to get other ones.
Anyway, after wearing them for two days, the inside of the soles came loose. Because I had a lot of family matters, and internship to tend to so I just couldn't get to bringing them back in those 8 days. On a side note, I've worn my Pumas for 2 and a half year and those soles are still doing great. Ya gotta have soles.
I went back today, and they said that I could switch em with another pair, even though they didn't have the brown ones I bought. I also could get a new pair of shoes, minus the price of those shoes. My mom happened to come with me (she needed IKEA stuff, and whose a better mule then the only son still living at home. My back...) and she agreed and would pay for the rest (thanks mom).
There was only one problem, I didn't have the receit because I stupidly (mule) lost it... The guy said it was alright if I could show proof that I payed the cash to buy the shoes, which isn't to hard with an Internet bank account. I'd get the new shoes, and I would come back next Wednesday to show it to them and then then they would repay me the money for the sporty cocks.
Anyway, I got a nice pair of ADIDAS, which are made (in stead of the sporty cocks) from real genuine leather. While I was paying for the new ones, the shopkeeper said he'd just take the money from the cocks off of the 'didas so I wouldn't have to come back that next wednesday and that was a good thing since I don't have much time to begin with right now.
(I got an airgun practice match at 25/50 meters, with the Crosman at 25 and hopefully my freshly tuned D-48. So for next week we also need a 25 meter competition so I can finally get to it seriously.)
So I came home a happy man with trendy leather sneakers. On fire.
I'm pretty happy with how this shop solved this little problem even though I got mom to spend a bit more then what she came for, but I guess that's paying for all the dishes, cooking and cleaning. And leather shoes are just plainly awesome.
By the way, can you guys also get Kopparberg at the IKEA, if you already got one around?
